At a Wallows show, no matter where you are in the crowd, you are sure to have an amazing time. With fun songs and crowd interaction, they always know how to put on a high-energy show where everyone can sing along.

The Model and More Tour kicked off on May 25 in San Antonio, TX, at the Espee Theatre. The setlist featured new songs from their More EP, their previous album Model, and a mix of their past favorites.

Fans showed their devotion by lining up at the venue throughout the night before, and in the blazing sun the day of, to see their beloved band grace the stage. With an exciting set from their opener Porches, the excitement grew for Wallows to come on and perform.

The band of three shinnied on stage with Dylan Minnette and Braden Lemasters on vocals and guitar, and Cole Preston on drums. For their tour, they are joined by Kevin Grimmet, Blake Morell, and Danny Ferenbach on keys, trumpet, bass, and additional guitars. During the song “Quarterback,” Cole gets on guitar and vocals while Dylan covers the drums.

They opened the show with “Your Apartment,” a track off their 2024 album Model, and the crowd immediately erupted in applause and cheers. Their setlists vary for each show, featuring some staples but allowing enough room for excitement as fans hear different songs and anticipate which ones will be next.

Wallows is known to have an interactive fan experience during their shows. During their song “OK”, Dylan picked a fan from the crowd to sing part of the lyrics. During some songs, they stepped on the barricade to sing and play close to the fans. At one point, Braeden let a fan strum his guitar and let them keep the pick. 

Towards the end of the show, a beautiful starry backdrop lit up behind them. The use of colorful lights illuminated the stage as the band performed.

The band played “Only Friend”, a song off their 2019 album Nothing Happens, as their last song. The show ended with the boys passing out new orange set lists with blue painters tape, a detail that resembles their More EP, and throwing guitar picks into the crowd.


Wallows is a band that continues to create memorable experiences for fans to enjoy their favorite songs live, reunite with friends, and make new ones.
