When you buy tickets to a Halsey show, you are guaranteed a theatrical experience. From the visuals to the costumes, she knows how to draw her fans into her world and create a memorable concert for everyone, no matter where they are seated.

Halsey released her debut EP, Room 93, in 2014. Since then, her popularity and creativity have grown, evident in her For My Last Trick Tour.

This is her fifth tour, which features a more intense production than her previous ones, including about ten costume changes and numerous sets. The concert was the fourth show of the For My Last Trick Tour supporting her album The Great Impersonator, which took place in Dallas, Texas, at the Dos Equis Pavilion.

The anticipation and excitement built when the white curtain descended onto the stage. A video of Halsey, dressed in a blue Alice-in-Wonderland-inspired dress, appeared on the screen.

She opened by playing “Darwinism” on the piano while a visual of her falling down the rabbit hole was displayed on the screens. Videos of Halsey following a storyline inspired by the 1951 film appeared between songs, creating a cinematic experience with high-quality visuals.

The show was split into two acts, showcasing a mix of songs from her current album, including “Alone” and “Lucky,” as well as past favorites such as “Bad At Love” and “Gasoline.” Most of the visuals that played during her songs were filmed live and looked straight from a movie.

Elaborate and beautiful sets transformed the stage into the world of The Great Impersonator, bringing her songs to life, complemented by her bold costumes. From performing inside a large martini glass and singing amongst fire during “Arsonist,” to performing with heavy chains and leather during “Dog Years,” she impressed the fans, making them wonder how she does it every night.

Halsey was joined by a talented group of dancers, who played a significant role in the performance, in moments like tying her up with rope and dragging her across the stage while she sang “Control” and danced while lying on a giant crescent moon. Everyone involved in the show was an important puzzle piece in making this tour one of her best yet.

When she spoke to the crowd, she expressed her gratitude to her fans for allowing her to live her dream ten years later. She told the Dallas crowd she could barely hear herself sing because they were so loud. Everyone was up dancing and singing along, and the high energy flowed throughout the show.
